2008 Tournaments:

May 24 & 25: Pender Classic

It's back, same time, same place: registration starts on Friday May, 23 from 4pm-6pm and continues Sat., May 24 from 8am-11am. Participants register and may then tee-off anytime between 8am and 11:30am Saturday (that is the absolute latest start time, please, no exceptions). There will be the traditional fun doubles game Sat. afternoon and the awards ceremony will be at Port Browning Marina starting at 4pm Sun., May 25. To get the awards rolling on time, and make sure everyone can catch their ferries, please be sure to tee-off early Sunday (you're responsible for your own physical and mental condition) !

Food... Yes, there'll be food available during the Pender Classic.
Merchandise... there won't be merchandise available this year except for the "discin' in the tree world" stickers!
But there will be a couple of fun raffles!
Check the "Pender Island" page for links to accommodations etc.

Important Note for Folks Coming From the Mainland (ie. Tsawassen): it will be a smaller than usual ferry that weekend - make reservations to Pender and back (BC Ferries) unless you want to stay on-island for a few daze !

For more info about the the Pender Classic call Alex Fraser: (250) 629-6494.
