2009 Tournaments:

May 23 & 24: Pender Classic

It's back, same time, same place: Registration* starts on Friday May, 22 from 4pm-6pm and continues Sat., May 23 from 8am-11am. Participants register and may then tee-off anytime between 8am and 11:30am Saturday (that is the absolute latest start time, please, no exceptions).

*Players may register in the following Divisions:

  • Pro Men
  • Advanced Men
  • Pro Women
  • Advanced Master
  • Pro Master
  • Grand Master
  • Amateur Men
  • Amateur Women
  • Novice Men
  • Novice Women

There will be the traditional fun doubles game Sat. afternoon. The awards ceremony will be at 4pm Sun., May 24, at the disc park clubhouse. To get the awards rolling on time, and make sure everyone can catch their ferries, please be sure to tee-off early Sunday.

PLEASE NOTE!!!

Camping at Browning (Tel: 250 629 3493) is a go but.... they are renovating and there will be Porta-Potties and perhaps a Porta-Shower (also showers at Driftwood Auto, minutes away). Browning mentioned that they will be charging for camping this year. Please call Browning direct to make reservations and inquire about services and food (there may be some brekkie specials on for golfers!).

CAMPING SITES ARE LIMITED ON PENDER. There are a few sites at Prior Centennial Park (National Park), the marine park at Beaumont (Bedwell Harbour, again, National Park). Check our Pender info page for other accommodations etc.
